Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO (STRIKFORNATO) is NATO’s premier Maritime Battle-staff and the Alliance’s primary link for integrating US Maritime Forces into NATO operations.

Managed by a Memorandum of Understanding comprising of 11 Nations, STRIKFORNATO is a rapidly deployable, Maritime Headquarters that provides scalable command and control across the full spectrum of Alliance fundamental security tasks.
 

STRIKFORNATO Contributes to Allied Headquarters Readiness at Exercise TRIDENT JEWEL 15

For 10 days from 16 through 26 March 2015, Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO (STRIKFORNATO) sent a strong contingent to support the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) and Allied Maritime Command (MARCOM) at Exercise TRIDENT JEWEL 15 (TRJL 15).

Oeiras, Portugal - On 19 March 2015, Headquarters, Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO (STRIKFORNATO) was visited by the Commander Task Force 68, Captain Joseph Polanin, U.S Navy who was accompanied by Major Curtis Shereve, Commanding Officer, Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team Company, Europe (FASTEUR) and Commander Paul Austin, Operations Officer, Task Force 68.
